The Grampus Inn
The Grampus is set in the heart of one Britain’s most picturesque villages. Parts of the building date back to the 14th Century, and until the 1970s, this was a working farm. Now a Free House, it is a favourite with residents and holiday makers alike and was awarded a Top Pub status in the North Devon Pub Guide 2004.
Families are welcomed and children well catered for. Your host, Bill, stocks a variety of regular and guest ales and lagers, many of them local. A good selection of organic wines, spirits and soft drinks are also available
Food is also important at the Grampus, with an emphasis on locally-sourced, home-cooked meals. Whether you want a light snack or something more substantial, there is plenty of choice.
Traditional Devon Cream Teas can also be found at the Grampus, and will be served in the pub or gardens.
Although Lee is a small village, there is enthusiastic support for pub games. There are thriving skittles, darts and pool leagues and darts, pool, shove ha’ penny, cards and dominoes are available to visitors. The Grampus also holds regular live music events, with an open mic’ night every Friday from 9pm.
